People leaving the area near the Verkhovna Rada building have clashed with police in Kiev's Hrushevsky Street.
An Interfax correspondent has reported, citing eyewitnesses, that the activists found a man whom they identified as a plainclothes police officer who intended to provoke them. They encircled him and tried to hold him. After that, police wearing special uniform came running to the site and began pushing the people aside.
Some time later, more police arrived and they tried to encircle the crowd of protesters on Hryshevsky Street between Kiev Hotel and Mariinsky Park.
Some people have been hurt in the clashes. An Interfax correspondent has reported that one young man, who had a head injury, was being carried to the side.
