Advanced Russian-made tanks will surpass foreign hardware considerably by their characteristics and shock power in the near future, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Army Colonel-General Oleg Salyukov said on Monday.

"Measures the state is taking in the sphere of tank-building, show that Russian tanks will surpass foreign analogs considerably by their tactical characteristics already in the near future," he said.
