The vote on a resolution proposed by the United Kingdom over the migrant situation in Europe will take place at the United Nations Security Council in the next two days and Moscow will support it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov has said.

"This resolution takes into account all Russian suggestions and proposals, so the vote could be held in the next two days," he said responding to a question posed by Interfax on Sept.22.

"We will support (it) because it took into account all our concerns and proposals, these involve primarily possible forceful actions with respect to the vessels carrying migrants," the diplomat said.

"The main task is to ensure people's safety and to prevent any forceful actions that could lead to their death," Gatilov said.
