Overnight to October 8 Russian aircraft flew 22 combat raids and delivered strikes on 27 terrorist sites in Syria, spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov told reporters.
"Sukhoi Su-25 and Su-34 bombers attacked eight footholds of militants in the Homs province. As a result of hitting the targets the fortifications of militants were completely destroyed," Konashenkov said on Oct. 8.
Su-25 and Su-34 attack planes delivered strikes on 11 areas where the training camps of ISIS militants are situated in the Hama and Raqqa provinces, Konashenkov said.
"As a result of the strikes the infrastructure used for the training of terrorists was destroyed," the Defense Ministry spokesman said.
