Group held on suspicion of plotting terror attack in Moscow

Security officers have arrested a group of individuals at a house in Strelbishchensky Pereulok in central Moscow on suspicion of plotting a terror attack in the capital, the Information Center of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAK) said on Oct. 11.

"An improvised explosive device was found and rendered safe in the apartment where the bandits had been hiding," the statement reads.

Necessary inquiries are under way, the NAK said.
