Moscow is ready to provide air support to the opposition Free Syrian Army to combat terrorism in Syria, but it has still not received the necessary information on its location, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We are ready to involve the patriotic opposition, including by providing air support to the so-called Free Syrian Army, although we have been denied information on where, according to American evaluations, terrorists and where patriotic opposition forces are," Lavrov said in an interview shown in a Saturday analytical program hosted by Sergei Brilyov on Rossiya-1 television channel.
"What's most important to us is to approach people who have the authority to represent these or those armed groups, including those opposing terrorism," he said.
