Joint programs implemented in BRICS Network University

The Network University will allow the interaction of universities in bilateral and multilateral formats.

“Joint masters and postgraduate studies programs will be made possible through the creation of a BRICS Network University,” this was announced by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Alexander Klimov.

“The Network University has been designed as a broad initiative that will allow the interaction of universities in bilateral and multilateral formats, primarily for the implementation of joint masters and postgraduate studies programs,” Mr. Klimov said on Tuesday at the opening of the BRICS Global University Summit.

Earlier it was reported that currently the BRICS Network University, the idea for​ which was first announced two years ago at the meeting of Education Ministers of the BRICS countries, in the future would become one of the main mechanisms for serious and rich interaction.

BRICS – is an informal interstate association of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The total population of the BRICS countries – 2.83 billion people (42% of Earth’s total).
