Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jafari has confirmed that the next multilateral meeting on Syria in Vienna has been planned preliminarily for next week.
The idea of holding another multilateral meeting on Syria in Vienna is being discussed and the parties are considering next week as the time when it might take place, al-Jafari told journalists in Vienna on Oct. 30.
Media had reported earlier that a new meeting on Syria would be held in Vienna in early November.
Asked by journalists whether the parties have a consensus on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's future, al-Jafari said this is a subject of the negotiations and everything should be decided through negotiations.
