A Syrian opposition members' meeting, which may also involve representatives of Syria's government, may be held in Moscow next week, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told reporters on Nov. 3.
"Next week, we will invite representatives of the [Syrian] opposition to Moscow for consultations. A meeting, tentatively called 'Moscow-3', is expected to take place next week. Representatives of the [Syrian] government may also join it," he added.
"We stress that these are not official talks. Rather, it is an opportunity to meet in one place and at one time to exchange opinions and hold consultations within the framework of preparations for the upcoming work," he added.
