Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Xi Jinping of China, who met on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty summit in Turkey’s Antalya, demonstrated absolute solidarity on issues of anti-terror efforts, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
"The two leaders exchanged views on Syria," he told journalists. "Absolute solidarity and cooperation in anti-terror efforts."
Peskov said relations between Moscow and Beijing remained "traditionally intensive" to include "a great number of joint projects." Focus, in his words, was made on cooperation within the BRICS (an association of Brazil, Russia, India, China and Saudi Arabia), the Yamal LNG project and China’s future presidency in the Group of Twenty.
