Almost 90,000 Russian tourists have been taken out of Egypt, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov told Interfax on Wednesday.
"An overwhelming majority of tourists who vacationed there have already been taken from there. This figure now nears 90,000 people. According to our estimation, fewer than 2,500 people are now left, they will be taken out in the nearest future," he said.
He said the remaining tourists will be taken out of the country as their tours end.
"The last flight is planned fro November 30," he said.
