Russia ready to commission energy bridge to Crimea in 2015 - Novak

The Crimean peninsula still depends on electricity supplies from Ukraine

Russia is ready to commission the energy bridge to Crimea from Krasnodar territory along the bottom of the Kerch Strait slightly earlier than January 1, 2016, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.

For now the Crimean peninsula depends on electricity supplies from Ukraine. When the bridge is completed,  Crimea will be supplied completely with Russian energy.
