Some 1.656 million people in Crimea and Sevastopol were still without electricity in Crimea by 8:00 a.m. Moscow time on Npv. 23, the Energy Ministry's Situations Analysis center said.
This amounts to 551 MW of disconnected capacity.
A total of 1.386 million residents and 300 key buildings and facilities in the Republic of Crimea and 270,000 residents of Sevastopol had no electricity.
Crimea has 366 MW of its own generating capacity, including 232 MW at mobile generators.
Consumption on the Peninsula is limited to 360 MW.
The Krymenergo power utility has so far restored power supplies to some consumers from 643 diesel generators with combined capacity of 82.5 MW. Efforts to restore power supplies continue.
