All luggage of Russian tourists airlifted from Egypt

Over 782 tonnes of personal belongings have been airlifted to Russia

Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry has finished airlifting the luggage of Russian tourists who earlier left Egypt taking only cabin luggage with them, the ministry's press service has reported.

"Today the Emergency Situations Ministry's [Ilyushin] Il-76 airplane arrived from Egypt with the last delivery of the luggage of Russians who left Egyptian resorts on seven flights," the press service said.

More than 782 tonnes of Russian tourists' personal belongings have been airlifted from Egypt to Russia on 37 flights since air traffic between the two countries was suspended. The luggage was delivered by airplanes of the Emergency Situations Ministry, the Defense Ministry and the Volga-Dnepr air carrier.
