Power bridge to Crimea to be launched by Dec. 20 — Russian energy minister

Crimea currently has fuel supplies for some 20 days.

The power bridge to Crimea is to be launched by December 20, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Wednesday.

"December 20 is the deadline. But we will try to do it earlier," Novak said.

He said Crimea, cut off from Ukraine’s power supplies for some 10 days, currently has fuel supplies for some 20 days.
