IAAF commission on Russian Athletic Federation's reform to work in Moscow

The international commission visit Russia on Jan. 10-15

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) commission on a reform of the Russian Athletic Federation is expected to visit Russia on January 10-15, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) said.

"Members of an interim coordinating commission attended to a report by chairman of the committee Gennady Alyoshin on the steps and immediate plans within the cooperation between all involved Russian sports structures, and the International Athletic Federation inspection group. The IAAF commission is planning to visit Moscow from January 10 to 15," the ROC press release said.

On Dec. 17, the ROC held a second working meeting of its interim coordinating committee on cooperation with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the IAAF on the issues of bringing the Russian Athletic Federation's activity in compliance with the global anti-doping code and the IAAF anti-doping rules, restoring the Russian Athletic Federation membership in the IAAF and holding an extraordinary report-and-election conference.
