Putin: Russia not going to curtail relations with Turkish people

Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterates that Russia sees the Turkish nation as its friend.

"First, Turkey is not Europe. And second, I already said in my address [to the Federal Assembly] and want to repeat once again here and now: we view the Turkish people as our friends and do not want to curtail relations precisely with the Turkish people," Putin said in an interview that is part of the documentary 'Miroporyadok' (World Order) made by the Rossiya 1 (VGTRK) TV channel, fragments of which were shown on Saturday.

"As concerns the incumbent [Turkish] leadership - nothing is eternal under the moon," Putin said.
