Dmitry Peskov told reporters about Putin's plans for holidays

Russian President Vladimir Putin will see the New Year in with his relatives and loved ones.

"He will traditionally keep celebrate at home with his relatives and loved ones," presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov told reporters, responding to a question as to where Putin will see the New Year in.

He did not specify where the Russian president will celebrate the holiday.

Speaking about the president's schedule during the New Year holidays, Peskov said the president's schedule until December 30 has already been planned.

"No big events are currently planned before [January] 6, although there will be working events. There will be working events on January 5 and January 6, and on January 8," Peskov said.
