Two DPR militiamen injured over past day

Two militiamen of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic suffered injuries in shelling incidents in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

"The Ukrainian side continues to violate the Minsk agreements. Petrovske came under attack: ten shots were fired from sniper rifles. Two servicemen of the DPR suffered injuries. There are no civilian casualties," senior officer of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin told reporters on Sunday.

He said DPR reconnaissance continued to observe relocations of hostile weapons. "An Akatsiya self-propelled artillery weapon in Mirne, and two tanks and two Rapira systems in Novoselivka; tank companies with ten tanks in each of Vilne and Kyrylivka, and troops accommodated in a dormitory in Hranitne. The intelligence data demonstrates preparations for new provocations," Basurin said.
