Russia has registered a medication against Ebola, Russian President Vladimir Putin told his government members on Jan. 11.
"We have good news: I will ask our health minister to tell about it. We have registered a medication against the Ebola fever, which after relevant tests shows a higher efficiency, higher than the preparations which have been used worldwide until now," Putin said.
Russia has developed two vaccines against the Ebola fever, which are superior to their foreign counterparts, with one of them being suitable for patients with immunodeficiency, Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova has said.
