BRICS labour and employment ministers will hold their first meeting in Ufa on 25-26 January 2016, BRICS2015.ru reports. The meeting will focus on the Policy of Creating High-Quality Jobs and Available Employment.
The ministers and experts to discuss ways to improve the productivity and quality of professional training, the development of professional standards, labour mobility, the development of employment services, the rights of the workforce and the unemployed, enhanced work safety and other issues.
The event will include a briefing of Russian Minister of Labour and Social Protection Maxim Topilin.
The meeting will end with the signing of the Declaration of the BRICS Ministers of Labour and Employment, which will reflect the issues of integrating policies aimed at formalising the labour market, expanding high-quality and inclusive employment, reducing social tensions and fostering economic growth.
