Some 90% of Russian regions have been hit by a flu epidemic, which has already killed over 120 people, the Russian consumer rights watchdog said on Tuesday.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights said the epidemic threshold is exceeded in 74 out of 85 Russian regions.

The Russian Health Ministry expects the epidemic to reach its peak later this week.
