Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold negotiations with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain in Sochi on February 8, while the latter pays a working visit to Russia.
"During the upcoming meeting, priority is to be given to the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the trade-investment, energy, financial, and humanitarian sectors," the Kremlin press service reported.
The Russian president and the Bahraini king are also expected to exchange opinions "on the situation in the Middle Eastern and North African region, primarily in the context of the fight against international terrorism," it said.
