Flick.com / MFA RussiaThe question of a possible ground operation in Syria was not raised at the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) meeting, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
"That issue was not discussed, so I cannot tell you who is going to send whom there," he told reporters, who asked whether Saudi Arabia could be convinced not to send troops to Syria.
The ISSG meeting in Munich ended early on Feb. 12 morning. The sides coordinated the details of humanitarian supplies and a ceasefire to be established in Syria within a week. The ceasefire will not apply to terrorist groups.
