Truce agreed with Jaish al-Islam group, 5 moderate opposition units

The talks are underway with 4 opposition units in Damascus, Daraa, and Homs

The conflicting parties are largely observing the ceasefire regime in the Syrian provinces Hama, Homs, Latakia, Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa, Lt. Gen. Sergei Kuralenko, director of the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the opposing sides in Syria, has said.

"In general, the ceasefire regime has been observed by the government troops and the opposition forces in the Syrian Arab Republic," Kuralenko told reporters in March 4.

"In the past 48 hours, we agreed to cease warfare with the field commander of the Jaish al-Islam group that controls the populated area of Ruheibah in the Damascus province, as well as with five commanders of the moderate opposition units active in the Daraa province, as part of the measures undertaken by the Russian Center on reconciliation," he said.

"The talks are underway with the leaders of another four armed opposition units based in the provinces of Damascus, Daraa, and Homs. Preliminary agreements on reconciliation have been reached with aldermen of two residential communities in the Hama province," Kuralenko revealed.
