A small rally is taking place outside the building of the Russian Embassy to Ukraine, no incidents occurred overnight, Russian Embassy spokesman Oleg Grishin said.
"A small rally of about ten people is currently taking place. Everything is happening quietly, with no excesses," he told Interfax.
"There were no incidents overnight," he said.
A protest was held outside the Russian embassy in Kiev on March 6. The picketers, who demanded a release of Ukrainian pilot and parliamentarian Nadiya Savchenko, threw eggs at the embassy building.
The Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry over a nighttime attack on the diplomatic mission's vehicles, Grishin told Interfax.
"The embassy has sent a note of protest to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as there was an overnight attack in which several cars were smashed and the embassy was attacked with firecrackers and smoke bombs," Grishin said.
