A Russian national team member, Ekaterina Konstantinova, has failed a doping test, said Alexei Kravtsov, the president of the Russian Skaters' Union.
"Konstantinova has become a third athlete whose doping sample gave a positive result," he told reporters on March 9.
The female athlete tested positive for the banned substance Meldonium (Mildronate).
The other two athletes caught earlier in using Meldonium, are Russian men's short-track skating team leader, 2014 Olympic champion in relay, 2015 world champion in 1,500 meters Semyon Yelistratov, and the five-time world speed-skating champion, Pavel Kulizhnikov.
