Russia concern about the truce violations in the Hama province

The leadership of the Russian Center for reconciliation in Syria at the meetings with the U.S. coordination center voiced concern about the truce violations in the Hama province by the opposition units, which the United States included in the lists of those who are observing the ceasefire regime, says a news bulletin posted on the Defense Ministry's website on March 14.

"Two teleconference calls were held between the leadership of the Russian Center for reconciliation (the Hmeimim airbase) and the U.S. coordination center (the Amman city)," the bulletin said.

"At the talks the Russian side voiced concern about violations of the regime of the cessation of hostilities in the area of the Kafer-Nbouda locality (the Hama province) by the opposition units, which were included by the American side in the lists of those who are observing the regime of the cessation of hostilities and are staying in the areas designated by the American partners," the document said.

The news bulletin also said that "the participants in the meeting discussed truce violations recorded in the last 24 hours, and outlined the fields of further work to control the observation of the terms of the cessation of hostilities by the sides."

It was also reported that a rally, in support of the national reconciliation process, was held in the Latakia province at the initiative of local authorities.

"More than 400 representatives of local authorities, public and political movements, as well as local residents, attended the event," the news bulletin said.
