Syria will be the focal point of the negotiations to be held by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Moscow, yet some other aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa will also be highlighted due to the spread of ISIS, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"Naturally, the Syria issue will be a central one, but I also hope we will speak about other aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa because all of them are interrelated, moreover that ISIL is taking root in a growing number of countries," Lavrov said at a press conference on March 16, after negotiations with his Egyptian colleague.
