Four track and field athletes have tested positive for doping, All-Russia Athletic Federation President Dmitry Shlyakhtin has told Interfax.
"There is information that four persons have tested positive for meldonium. We will look into this matter today," Shlyakhtin said, declining to disclose the identity of the athletes who tested positive for the substance forbidden by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on January 1, 2016.
The media said on March 20 that one of the athletes was runner Nadezhda Kotlyarova.
