"We have lost two Indian citizens – Shyam Mohan and his wife Anju Ayyappan from Ernakulam (Kerala) in the airplane crash of the FlyDubai flight in Russia. We express our deepest condolences to the family. The Indian Embassy in Moscow will provide the family with all the necessary assistance," - writes Sushma Swaraj on her page on Twitter.

The passenger Flydubai Boeing 737-800, on flight FZ981 from Dubai crashed in Rostov-on-Don at 3.42 on Saturday. The plane fell to the left of the runway strip while landing in poor visibility conditions. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were 62 people – 55 passengers and seven crew members board, and they all died.
