The Russian and United States centers for reconciliation between warring parties in Syria have noted a decrease in the number of violations involving heavy weaponry.
"Yet another telephone conference was held between the leaders of the Russian and U.S. reconciliation centers. The parties exchanged information about violations of the ceasefire in Syria, discussed problems in delivering international humanitarian convoys to the Damascus province, and noted a significant decrease in the number of violations with the use of heavy weapons," the Russian Reconciliation Center said in a bulletin published on the official site of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Also, the operational group of the Russian Reconciliation Center met with officials from the Syrian National Reconciliation Ministry, according to the bulletin. The working meeting focused on issues relating to humanitarian aid delivery for the population of the Damascus province.
"A humanitarian convoy is being formed for residents of the populated area of Babil in the Damascus province," the Russian Center said.
