FIFA Chief Gianni Infantino is planning to arrive in Moscow around April 20, Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko told Russian media executives on March 31.
"Infantino has received the invitation. The preliminary date of his arrival is April 20," he said.
"There is no fear about the 2018 World Football Cup being seized from Russia," he said.
The Cup will "not be in any way affected by the latest doping scandal either," Mutko said.
"Infantino has already said that he intends to conduct the best world championship," the minister added.
