Russia is one of the most important strategic partners of Serbia, and Belgrade is thankful to Moscow for support in international organizations on the issue of Kosovo, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Friday before talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
"I want to thank Russia for support in international organizations and other structures," Dacic said. "If not for Russia, Serbia would have been in a much worse situation on the issue of Kosovo," he added.
Dacic noted that the relations between Serbia and Russia are successfully developing in all spheres. "We plan to further develop bilateral relations, prepare to sign several bilateral agreements and memorandums on this occasion," he said.
