The old building of the Russian Defense Ministry, which was struck by a fire on April 3, housed the supply department, a ministry spokesperson said.
"The central military-command bodies housed in this building over a year ago have since moved to 22/2 Frunzenskaya Naberezhnaya," the ministry said in a statement obtained by Interfax-AVN.
The ministry's department of property relations and housing department, as well as the archives dating back to their early days, are at the ministry's Administrative building in Krestovozdvizhensky Pereulok, across the road from the building hit by the fire, the spokesperson said.
