France is ready to help formulate a decision to lift sanctions against Russia, which were introduced over Moscow's takeover of Crimea and role in the subsequent events in eastern Ukraine, but there is still no certainty, French Senate President Gerard Larcher has said.
"Today I know that we should get prepared. There is no certainty in order to be able to say that sanctions should continue. It is necessary to look for other solutions. In any case, we would like to help make this process easier," Larcher told reporters on April 5.
