According to the instructions of the aviation authorities of Brussels, as part of the airports limited function regime, there are a number of rules in place, Aeroflot said in a statement. In particular, the registration of passengers on flights begins three hours before takeoff. Also flying passengers are required to have a printed boarding pass or a document that confirms their booking on the flight with them, mobile boarding passes are not being accepted.
In addition, the Meeters & Greeters section of the Brussels airport is not accessible for friends and relatives who are meeting arriving passengers. Children without supervision are not being permitted in the airport.
The Zaventem Airport in Brussels was closed after the terrorist attacks on March 22. The date for the opening of the airport has been moved several times.
