The political subgroup within the Trilateral Contact Group for Donbas will hold a video conference, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has said.
"This time, the political subgroup's session will take place in a very brief format, a video conference format on April 28 ... The document that is currently being drafted is a working document on the modalities of the elections. It contains all positions of the sides," the self-proclaimed republic's representative to the political subgroup Natalia Nikonorova told reporters.
"There is one point that causes no disagreement between the sides - it is the point concerning election observation by the OSCE ODIHR (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights)," she said.
"This document includes several points, our fundamental positions. Compromises on our part are hardly possible here," Nikonorova said.
This roadmap will help the sides implement the Minsk agreements, she said.
"The roadmap, as a document, will not allow anyone to swap the place of fulfilling the Package of Measures points. It should assist the work of the political subgroup, and, I hope, we will coordinate the schedule and the topics being discussed by the subgroup with this roadmap," Nikonorova said.
The elections in Donbas may be held in the first half of 2016 if there is Kyiv's willingness to it, as well as its willingness to observe the ceasefire, she added.
"It is possible to hold the elections in the first half of 2016 if all issues are agreed upon. But the Ukrainian side's interest in the ceasefire and its acceptance of the positions about which we have been speaking is also needed," she said.
