Putin bestows F1 Russian Grand Prix award on Nico Rosberg

Russian President Vladimir Putin has attended the award ceremony for the winners of the Formula One world championship's Russian stage in Sochi.

The head of state was also present at two previous Russian Grand Prix races in Sochi, in 2014 and 2015, and awarded the winners.

Putin handed the Russian Grand Prix cup to the race winner, the German race car driver Nico Rosberg.

Last year's winner British man Lewis Hamilton was second at the finish line, and the Finn Kimi Raikkonen came in third.
