Russia may ban supplies of feeding stuffs from EU — watchdog

Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance may ban supplies of feeding stuffs from the EU due to counterfeiting and use of genetically modified organisms, head of the regulator Sergey Dankvert told TASS.

"We have already taken measures regarding five countries, once we discover any new violations we will ban imports from specific countries or from the entire EU in general. It will depend on scales of violations," he said.
