Putin awards UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon with Order of Friendship

The decree published on the Russian official legal information website

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has been honored with Russia's Order of Friendship.

The respective decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin was published on the Russian official legal information website.

"For special services in the strengthening of peace, friendship, cooperation and understanding among peoples, honor Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, citizen of the Republic of Korea, with the Order of Friendship" the presidential decree dated June 8, 2016 said.
