Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed the settlement of the crisis in Ukraine among other issues in a telephone conversation on June 10.
"The ministers discussed a number of relevant international problems, including ways to settle the crises in Syria, Libya, and Ukraine. They also considered the OSCE's activities, in which Germany holds presidency in 2016," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website.
The conversation was arranged at Germany's initiative, it said.
