Another 5 Russian football fans are hurt in the clashes

Two Russian football fans were detained and another five injured as a result of the clashes in Marseille on June 12, Sergei Parinov, the press secretary of the Russian embassy to France, told Interfax.

"Two individuals were detained and at present the Russian Consulate in Marseille is providing them with all necessary assistance," Parinov said.

"Five Russians have been hurt in the football fans' clashes," he added. "At this point, they are in hospital. They have received light injuries and nothing threatens their life and health. The Consulate is giving all necessary assistance to them," Parinov concluded.
