Marseille police have released nine Russian football fans who travelled on a bus stopped on June 15, and a decision concerning another three Russians will be made any time soon, Russian Consul General in Marseille Sergei Molchanov told Interfax.
"Another nine people have just been let go. All in all, 20 people have been released," Molchanov said when commenting on the situation with Russian football fans detained when traveling on a bus from Marseille to Lille on June 15.
"Twenty people will be expelled from the country. A court will make a final decision concerning the remaining three fans any time soon," he said.
