Gas supplies to China over Power of Siberia may start from 2019 to 2021

Russian gas supplies to China under the Power of Siberia pipeline project may start from May 2019 to May 2021, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian gas holding Alexei Miller said on Thursday.

Russian gas supplies to China under the Power of Siberia pipeline project may start from May 2019 to May 2021, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian gas holding Alexei Miller said on Thursday.

"The contract came into force in May 2015. The timeframe for gas deliveries to start is from 4 to 6 years from the legally effective date of the contract. Accordingly, gas supplies to Chia may start from May 2019 to May 2021," he said.

"These two years are the term, during which either party has a right not to comment on reasons of the shift at all," Miller added.
