Russia’s consolidated budget deficit stands at almost $14 bln in 5 months

Deficit of the Russian consolidated budget in January - May 2016 amounted to 893.616 bln rubles ($13.92 bln), the Federal Treasury said on Friday.

Deficit of the Russian consolidated budget in January - May 2016 amounted to 893.616 bln rubles ($13.92 bln), the Federal Treasury said on Friday.

In comparison with the same period last year, the deficit increased by 5.7%.

As of June 1, 2016, revenues of the consolidated budget amounted to 10.212 trillion rubles ($159.06 bln), expenses - 11.106 trillion rubles ($172.99 bln).

At the end of 2015, deficit of the Russian consolidated budget amounted to 2.864 trillion rubles ($46.17 bln).
