The minister was speaking at a plenary meeting of Innoprom, a major industrial trade fair underway in Russia’s Yekaterinburg. The fair runs from Monday to Thursday.
"I hope that we will soon be able to implement the idea of an agreement on free trade between India and EAEU member states, which will deepen our trade and economic relations," Denis Manturov said.
The EAEU is a Russia-initiated regional political and economic bloc which aims to streamline the flow of goods and services between its members, namely Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
