Fire in Moscow caused by broken lamp - emergencies ministry

The latest reports say about 17 victims.

The fire in the warehouse in Moscow’s north-east was caused by a broken lamp, head of the Moscow branch of the Emergencies Ministry Ilya Denisov told TASS on Aug. 27.

"The reason of the fire is now practically 100% clear - the fire began because of a disorder in a lamp," he said.

"In the warehouse, where that lamp was, the company kept much flammable liquids and printed materials."

The latest reports say about 17 victims.
