Russian supermodel and founder of the Naked Heart Foundation charity, Natalia Vodianova, and Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas who arrived in Moscow on Sept. 11, are going to present a joint charity project, the organization’s press service said.
The "Do as I Do" project aims at motivating as many people as possible to do good things. The celebrities intend to set an example and show others that doing charity work is easy, and can be a pleasure. Using the Viber application, one can download stickers featuring Banderas and Vodianova for a token price. The income from the sale of the stickers will be transferred to the Naked Heart Foundation. In addition, for every purchase of the Antonio Banderas fragrances, 100 rubles ($1.5) will be donated to the Vodianova charity’s main programs.
During his stay in Russia, Banderas will present his new fragrance, Queen of Seduction, he will also open an exhibition of his photos at the Multimedia Art Museum. "From Sept. 14 to Nov. 3 anyone interested can see women through the eyes of Hollywood’s macho and seducer, Antonio Banderas. Within the "Women in Gold" project, the legendary film star acts as a photographer to show the world that his muse is a unique, independent, irresistible woman, the queen of seduction", the foundation press release said.
On Sept. 14, the actor will take part in the ceremony of handing a check over to the Foundation. Besides that, Banderas will donate one special lot for a charity event, revenue from the sale will provide an opportunity to "implement more than one noble plan", the foundation’s press service informed.
"I am proud to collaborate with Natalia and her Naked Heart Foundation, the press service quoted Banderas as saying. "From the very beginning of my work in the beauty industry, I decided that I will do my duty to society and thank it for all that I have gained. I thank Natalia for providing me with an opportunity to help children in Russia". According to Vodianova, "the ladies’ man Antonio Banderas has a "naked heart" himself: his charity activities are widely known all over the world."
The Naked Heart Foundation for children was founded by Vodianova in 2004. The organization focuses on creating a system of free services for families with children who suffer from developmental disorders, and building inclusive playgrounds and parks for children of all ages and capacities. The charity has so far built more than 160 playground facilities in Russia and abroad.
