Russian leader wishes him good health and success in his endeavors

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin over the phone has wished former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi a happy 80th birthday, the Kremlin press service informed.

"The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has made a telephone call to the former Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Silvio Berlusconi, the chairman of the Forza Italia (or Forward Italy) party to congratulate him on his 80th birthday, Putin wished him good health and success in his endeavors," the press service said in a statement.

Earlier on Sept. 29 the Russian leader forwarded a congratulatory message to Berlusconi on the occasion of his birthday.
